Vacation

IGX employees are eligible for 20 days of vacation leave.

Holidays

The following are paid holidays for IGX employees:

  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day

If a bank holiday is on the weekend, a substitute weekday becomes a bank holiday, normally the following Monday.

Private Medical Insurance

IGX offers a private medical scheme through Vitality, which includes, amongst other benefits, half-price health screens, Virgin Active fitness club assessments and gym membership savings.  An employee is eligible to join after three (3) months of employment.

Eye Care

IGX has partnered with Specsavers Corporate Eyecare to administer eye exams.  If an eye exam is needed, a VDU eyecare voucher will be issued.  The VDU eyecare voucher allows you to go into any Specsavers store, get a full sight and eye health check.  If you require glasses solely and specifically for VDU use, you will be able to choose from their £45 range for free or have a £45 contribution towards other frame ranges.

Financial Benefits

Pension Scheme

The government has introduced laws aimed at getting more people to save for their retirement. Employers have to enrol eligible jobholders automatically into a qualifying pension scheme if they’re not already in one.

IGX offers an auto-enrolment pension scheme through Aegon.  You are eligible to join the scheme after three (3) months of employment.  An auto-enrolment of 1% will occur if no action is taken prior to an employee’s eligibility date.

Currently the employer contribution is 2%.  IGX has partnered with Financial Lifestyle Management Ltd located on Moorgate, to come into the office every six (6) months or so to review pensions on a 1-2-1 basis.
